My name is Cathy Shauklas.  I am a wife, mother of 3, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, daughter, friend and I have had my own home-based business, Creative Memories,  for 18 years.  I am 57 years old and I was diagnosed with stage 4 anal cancer with metastasis in my lower lymph system in March 2007.  (This is the same type of cancer that Farrah Fawcett had)  After four weeks of chemotherapy one month apart and 6 weeks of radiation my cancer eventually disappeared for a while.  Then in August of 2009 I was diagnosed with stage four anal cancer with a metastasis in my left lung about 1 inch big.  After receiving special stereotactic radiation for 5 days and two weeks of chemo in Oct. and Dec. my tumor was smaller but not yet gone. 

After reading about an alternative therapy I made the decision with the support of my husband to try Dr. Max Gerson’s therapy for the next two years.  This is a dietary approach to detoxify my body although it also includes reducing toxins that may enter my body’s surface through the skin.  I will not be using deodorant, makeup, lotions, hair dye etc.
