Activities at Baja Nutri Care clinic

On Fridays at 11:00, a yoga instructor comes to lead anyone that is interested in stretching and deep breathing etc.  The first time I attended we met inside the TV room.  Both patients and companions participated.  Norma is the current instructor and very good at what she does.  She is friendly and positive.

I noticed that I was a little winded when the class was over so the following week I only did part of the moves rather than miss the class altogether.  I love yoga and what it does for me in so many ways both physically and emotionally.  The second week the class was held outside by the pool in the warm sun.  What a treat!

On Thursday afternoons there is a food preparation demonstration.  One of the ladies that works in the kitchen usually prepares/demos 3 dishes.  While I have been here they have showed us how to make the Hippocrates “healing” soup, salad dressing, Chinese cabbage, mashed potatoes etc.  The demo usually lasts 30 minutes.  Felix, the patient coordinator, acts as the interpreter, translating Spanish into English.

Every other Tuesday there is a Norwalk juice machine demo so we can see how to make juice when we get home.

On Saturday, weather permitting, there is an excursion to Rosarito a few miles south of Tijuana.  There is room for 6 passengers only so not everyone at the clinic can go at the same time.  The cost is $10 per person and lasts less than two hours.

Saturday afternoon, we meet as a group in the TV room while the doctor goes through the list of supplements that we are taking as a part of our therapy and how they benefit our bodies.  This is helpful since we will continue to take these for the next two years for most of us.

That’s about for entertainment.  There is a mini trampoline and a treadmill and and nordic track in the TV room.  I haven’t used those since the therapy prescribes minimal activity so that my energy can be used for healing.  5 minutes of walking is about it. I usually walk for 20 minutes because 5 minutes seems too short but I understand the wisdom in holding back while I heal.

Hi Cathy, my name is Ann & I live in Mackay, Queensland, Australia & I am doing the Gerson
Therapy for NH lymphoma. Been doing the therapy for 6 months & I will be having a Ultrasound
on the 23rd of March to see how the lymph on my thoracic inlet is going. Like you, I have had 2
sets of chemo & after the first, the thoracic flared up (first was on the groin & left side of my
    neck.
I was never a big meat eater, but found it unusual to just eat vegetables only with the juice & soup but I am enjoying feeling well for the first time in years.
I am interested in how you are fairing as I couldnt go the clinic in Mexico, so could you give us
here in Auz a type of tour on the landscape etc. Enjoying your blog..
    warmest regards Ann

    Dear Cathy,
I don’t know you. I started reading your diary. You are a sweet lady. I am proud to be a woman and to learn about women like you, who are fighters. Your determination will pay off. After reading what you have gone through I know you will fight the enemy and you will get back healthy to your family. Keep up the good work.

Don’t forget to do meditation also. There are 2 exercises you can do. One you can imagine the waves of the ocean heating your body with all healthy cells and taking away all the sick cells. The second one is every time you drink your juice imagine there are millions of healthy cells in the juice and you are drinking all of them. When you get back home watch the movie called “The Secret”. It talks about positive thinking. You have to think positive and I know you are the most positive person, since you have been able to put this sight together to help other cancer patients. You are a great example and I will tell everyone I know who have cancer to come to this site and get motivated.
    God bless you
    Raya

Cathy I encourage you to continue firmly with your therapy. I really believe that “The Gerson Therapy” will help you very much. I have a friend who did a similar treatment, only diet and supplements and she has survived cancer for about 20 years now. Her doctors said that she would only last a year, but she proved them wrong. She is a very healthy lady and she has a certain glow about her, beautiful skin (she’s in her late 60′s or early 70′s) and she is sooo full of energy.

Another lady that I spoke to did a therapy based on diet and she also beat her cancer. The doctors said she would have 2 years to live if she didn’t do their conventional treatments but her husband (an MD) didn’t want her to get chemo-therapy or radiation and he sent her down to a similar clinic. She said the did a strict vegan diet (raw), some green juices and hot/cold therapy. It has been 4 years now and she is doing well.

I also have a good friend who’s grandmother had a large lump on her breast… yes breast cancer. She didn’t want any conventional treatment either so she did a special diet, she had herbal supplements and she did some ‘mud’ therapies and after a year… the large tumor (that had been noticable even when she was wearing clothes) had disolved and when she went back to get it checked, her doctor just didn’t find it.

I really believe in the Gerson Therapy, it is a much more aggresive treatment therefore I think you might get quicker results.

Please continue your journey… your testimony will be such a blessing to others who will need the encouragement.

Not only that but you will continue to be a blessing to those who know and love you. I will pray for you.

    Please keep us posted!

    Iris

I wish that I could afford to do the Gerson therapy there… There’s no way I will have $5,000 for my husband and I to go. But I will read your journal with great interest!

    Cathy,
You are doing the best thing in this world for your health. I was introduced to the Gerson Theerapy back in 1979 and have seen many, many people do very well curing disease and obtaining better health. The Gerson program is my
Bible and resource for health and healing. Ironically, I am an RN in a surgical unit, but subscribe personally to the Gerson way 100%. It is not everyone’s choice, but it is the only and best choice in my experience and opinion. Do not give up, keep your eye on the prize of good health and enjoy the freshness and “live” food prescribed on the therapy and it will be your way of life, even after the 2 years. Don’t doubt it! You can do it!!
    Pat
