Arrival at Baja Nutri Care Clinic in Mexico

After a very early wake up time to get to the airport and a connecting flight in Phoenix, my friend Carolyn and I made it to San Diego airport where we were picked up by the shuttle service that works closely with BNC. Jay was friendly, helpful and very positive as he shared stories about his life. We had no problems getting across the border.

At the clinic we were greeted by Felix. He took us directly to meet with my doctor and then later he took us on a short tour of the property. Our room is on the second floor and looks out over a beautiful courtyard. I can see the horizon line of the ocean from my bed and the beach is only 3 blocks away.

I immediately liked my doctor who used humor to make a connection. He was very specific in his instructions about my nutritional supplements and what they were for and details about other parts of the Gerson therapy, e.g. enema and clay pack frequency.

I was ravenous for lunch at 1PM which included a freshly prepared juice, Hippocrates soup, baked potato and assorted cooked and raw vegetable dishes. The bread was surprisingly delicious even though it doesn’t have salt or oil in it. Dinner was more of the same with a few different options.

I slept well the first night. The beds are comfortable and I had two pillows and enough blankets to keep warm.

Adios until my next entry.

PS What is a Clay Pack?

Most of the time I sleep well even though I get up 2-3 times to use the toilet. Not bad for drinking 104 ounces a day. I’ll explain more about the clay pack in a blog. You can use it on your face too but that isn’t the focus of my visit this time. Tee hee.

    Hi Cathy,

The food for this treatment sounds amazing. I hope it is helpful. You’ve been in my thoughts and prayers!

I just returned from Monterrey, Mexico. I went as part of international human resources class. It was a fun trip but I certaintly wasn’t 3 blocks from the beach. I hope you enjoy your time there, despite being there for treatments.
