Gerson Clinic-day 7

Yesterday was a beautiful day.  With my doctor’s permission, I walked to church after breakfast.  The kitchen help gave me my green 9AM juice at 8:45.  Then I walked with Carolyn T. about 15 minutes to find The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints.  I had a map and it was pretty much a straight shot but when you are in unfamiliar territory you always wonder if you are on the right track.

We were a couple of minutes late as we slipped in to a beautiful chapel.  I was touched by the spirit immediately and had a few tears fill my eyes.  I felt  joy and love.  It was a sweet service even though I don’t understand Spanish.  The hymns were familiar so I sang in English or hummed along.  We had to leave before the meeting was over because I didn’t want to miss my 10AM juice.

I had to walk a little slower on the way back because I was feeling  low on energy.  The sea air is wonderful though and invigorating.  I am very blessed to be here and have my friend to walk the journey of healing with me.

The other patients are so friendly and interesting.  Currently there are 6 patients and their companions so that means we sit at one long table for meals.  The total number changes as some people arrive and depart on different days.  Some patients stay for two weeks and others like myself are staying three.  We are young and old, male and female and all but two Canadians are from the US.  More about them later.

I need to give myself a coffee enema (more commonly known as a coffee break) before I go to dinner so I will close for now.

Adios amigos.

    Cathy-

I just want you to know that our family prays for you everyday. My seven year old son never forgets you. I hope that this therapy is the vanquisher of your cancer. Keep writing and I will keep reading.

    Enjoy the Spanish hymns.
