Yes, I am alive and well!

I am so sorry if I caused anyone to worry about me due to my lack of postings for the last 4 months. Tomorrow is my six month anniversary of following Dr. Gerson’s therapy. Yippee! That means I only have 18 more months to go.

Just as the Gerson book states, it is common to notice an increase in energy around the 6 month mark of following the therapy. I am finding this to be true. The main reason for my lack of posting was the time commitment and intensity of following the regime. Try to visualize a picture of a dog paddling in water just to keep his chin above water. The dog is not drowning but paddling like crazy to keep going. That would be me on this juice/enema schedule.

I have been told by those that have seen me up close that I look great (if that is possible to do without makeup then I think I do too). My skin is softer than ever and my skin tone/color is great too. I weigh 125 pounds and I don’t think I am too skinny or sick looking at all, even though that is 10 pounds less than when I got married 33 years ago.

I’ve had to buy some new pants since the others were falling off of me but that is a good problem to have.

As long as I bath regularly, which I do, I’ve had no problem NOT wearing deodorant or perfume or all the other things that are taboo on the Gerson therapy.

I promise to write more frequently and give you more of the details of my incredible juice journey. Thanks for your patience.

Wishing you good health and vitality,

Cathy

    Cathy,
Thanks for the update! And keep on going! Blessings to you on your healing journey. I appreciate hearing your updates – even if they aren’t as often as you would like. I am reading and learning so much about the Gerson Therapy and it is wonderful to hear from you as you travel this path.

    Sincerely,
    Connie

Good Girl, you can do it. I had hoped that you were just to busy and not that you had given up. After all what would we have if we did tha!!! I am trying to do a modified version. Please keep posting we want to hear it all if you want to share it. How about healing reactions? Did you read A Time to heal, its a good read. It has helped me understand a few things and allay some of my fears. Of course I did not go to gerson and have little help except what my husband (Just had our 35 anniv) so generoulsy gives me. I hope to hear from you soon, we are behind you 100 % You can do thi. stay strong, you will be so proud of yourself, until we hear again stay well!!!

    Dearest Cathy,

Sending love and healing energy your way! I am going to the Gerson institute on Monday ( 5 days ), I have breast cancer which may have spread to my lymph nodes, I am not going to have them removed to find out. I am a massage therapist/yoga teacher/own natural healing center/health food store, been vegetarian for 20 years, don’t use chemicals in or outside my house, don’t use deodorants or lotions with chemicals in them etc. You are an inspiration to me, thank you. Thank you for sharing your story!!!

    Hi Cathy,

It is very good and very inspiring reading your blog regarding your own experience in exercising Gerson Therapy. My Mother was passed away in September 10, 2010 because of Hepatitis C or Liver/Sirosis and I have only my Father now who is 80 years old. I want to keep him alive and healthy. Please share your experience more and more often. I want to implement these health tips for myself and family too. God Bless you and be healthier every day.

Cathy I would like to share with you a blog of a young lady who is on the Gerson diet and posts many great things on her little blog. She goes by the name of ‘The Wellness Warrior’ but her really name is Jessica. You might find the information there helpful.

    You’re in our prayers!

    Here it is, enjoy:

Dear Cathy – My mom was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. She has chosen to follow the Gerson Therapy in lieu of western medicine. It is not a easy road. It takes a lot of commitment and hard work. I hope that that you can share the next chapter of your story, whatever that may bring. I wish you peace.

      With love and light,
      Lolly

    Happy Thanksgiving!

I am hoping to get GT at BNC as well. How are you doing now? Were you able to keep it all going, was the food any more expensive than usual? (After you had all the tools I mean – of course those are expensive.)

I hope you’ll be able to fill in the things you missed telling us about like how do they make you comfortable during your coffee breaks and do they avoid latex products.. things like that. Thanks!
